Portfolio III
Not only do my studies consist of me creating original pieces, but this course specifically has provided the opportunity to create a cover song! For the duration of this project, requirements of at least 3 live instruments (one of them being a vocal) were necessary. Nevertheless, the project was still very free and encouraged creativity with how to approach it and building the result.

The project allowed for any song to be chosen to cover. With that in mind, I decided to challenge myself with a genre I loved listening to but have not had much experience creating in a DAW. The Song "From the Start" by Modern Jazz artist, Laufey, felt like a great match that fit the bill when it came to a challenge. This Project proved to be a great next step to further developing my listening, recording, and mixing skills and proved to overall be a fun and encouraging learning experience.
